The solar winds that blow but do not blow
Define a lattice vast as endless lace,
Traverse the empty fields of outer space
Arrive before this moment moves to go
& you & I, our gaze defined by now
Resist the urge to hold this knowing close,
The surface still, through which we dip our toes...
The ease with which we break our sacred vow.
The fear’s not what’s unknown, but what we know.
My mirrored face is not my truest face.
The snow-bent bough is not the tree’s real bough
& where my thoughts meander no-one goes.
From light to light, from source to source, the flow
Of solar wind with diamond seeds we sow.
